5424. Narrated Jābir: We used to carry the meat of the Hady (sacrificed animals) to Al-Madīna during the lifetime of the Prophet ﷺ.

5424 - حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: «كُنَّا نَتَزَوَّدُ لُحُومَ الهَدْيِ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَى المَدِينَةِ» تَابَعَهُ مُحَمَّدٌ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ، وَقَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ: قُلْتُ لِعَطَاءٍ: أَقَالَ حَتَّى جِئْنَا المَدِينَةَ قَالَ: «لاَ»
