English translation

5629. Narrated Ibn 'Abbās رضي الله عنهما: The Prophet ﷺ forbade the drinking of water (direct) from the mouth of a water-skin.

Arabic text

5629 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، قَالَ: «نَهَى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الشُّرْبِ مِنْ فِي السِّقَاءِ»
