English translation

5888. Narrated Ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنها: The Prophet ﷺ said, "To get the moustaches cut short is characteristic of Al-Fitrah."(1)

Arabic text

5888 - حَدَّثَنَا المَكِّيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، ح قَالَ أَصْحَابُنَا: عَنِ المَكِّيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا: عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مِنَ الفِطْرَةِ قَصُّ الشَّارِبِ»
