English translation

6021. Narrated Jābir bin 'Abdullāh رضي الله عنه: The Prophet ﷺ said, "Enjoining every kind of Al-Ma'rūf (i.e., Islāmic Monotheism and all that Islām orders one to do) is a Ṣadaqa."

6021 - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو غَسَّانَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ المُنْكَدِرِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «كُلُّ مَعْرُوفٍ صَدَقَةٌ»
