English translation
6172. Narrated Ibn 'Abbās رضي الله عنهما: Allāh's Messenger ﷺ said to Ibn Sā'id "I have hidden something for you in my mind; what is it?" He said, "Ad-Dukh."(2) The Prophet ﷺ said, "Ikhsā (you should be ashamed)."

6172 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلْمُ بْنُ زَرِيرٍ، سَمِعْتُ أَبَا رَجَاءٍ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِابْنِ صَائِدٍ: «قَدْ خَبَأْتُ لَكَ خَبِيئًا، فَمَا هُوَ؟» قَالَ: الدُّخُّ، قَالَ: «اخْسَأْ»
