English translation

6818. Narrated Abū Hurairah رضي الله عنه: The Prophet ﷺ said, "The boy is for (the owner of) the bed; and the stone (i.e., the punishment of stoning to death) is for the person who commits illegal sexual intercourse."

6818 - حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الوَلَدُ لِلْفِرَاشِ، وَلِلْعَاهِرِ الحَجَرُ»
