7365. Narrated Jundab bin 'Abdullāh: Allāh's Messenger ﷺ said, "Recite (and study) the Qur'ān as long as your hearts are in agreement as to its meanings, but if you have differences as regards its meaning, (then for the time being) stop reading it."
7365 - حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ الجَوْنِيُّ، عَنْ جُنْدَبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «اقْرَءُوا القُرْآنَ مَا ائْتَلَفَتْ عَلَيْهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ، فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فَقُومُوا عَنْهُ»، قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ: وَقَالَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، عَنْ هَارُونَ الأَعْوَرِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ، عَنْ جُنْدَبٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
