English translation

795. Narrated Abū Hurairah رضي الله عنه: When the Prophet ﷺ said "Sami' Allāhu liman ḥamida (Allāh heard those who sent praises and thanks to Him)," he would say, "Allāhumma Rabbanā walakal ḥamd (O Allah! Our Lord! All the praises and thanks are for You)." On bowing and raising his head from it [Salāt (prayers)] the Prophet ﷺ used to say Takbīr. He also used to say Takbīr on rising after the two prostrations.
