English translation

811. Narrated Al-Barā' bin 'Āzib رضي الله عنه: حَدَّثَنِي عنه and he was not a liar: We used to offer Salāt (prayer) behind the Prophet ﷺ and when he said, "Sami'Allāhu liman ḥamida", none of us would bend his back (to go for prostration) till the Prophet ﷺ had placed his forehead on the ground.

Footnotes

  1. 1

    (1) (H.809) While offering Ṣalāt (prayers) one should not engage in arranging his clothes or removing his hair from his forehead. He should devote himself to the Ṣalāt with submissiveness.
