English translation
962. Narrated Ibn 'Abbās رضي الله عنهما: I offered the 'Eid prayer with Allāh's Messenger ﷺ, Abū Bakr, 'Umar and 'Uthmān رضي الله عنهم and all of them offered Salāt (prayer) before delivering the Khutba (religious talk).
Hadith 962
The Khutba (religious talk) (should be delivered) after the 'Eid prayer.

962 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي الحَسَنُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «شَهِدْتُ العِيدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، وَعُثْمَانَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ، فَكُلُّهُمْ كَانُوا يُصَلُّونَ قَبْلَ الخُطْبَةِ»
