1127. It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "What if one of you were to take a flock of sheep and look for grass for them one or two miles away, but he cannot find any at that distance, so he goes further away? Then (the time for) Friday comes but he does not attend it, then (another) Friday comes but he does not attend it, and (another) Friday comes but he does not attend it, until Allāh places a seal on his heart." (Dai'f)
1127 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مَعْدِيُّ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَلَا هَلْ عَسَى أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَتَّخِذَ الصُّبَّةَ مِنَ الْغَنَمِ عَلَى رَأْسِ مِيلٍ أَوْ مِيلَيْنِ، فَيَتَعَذَّرَ عَلَيْهِ الْكَلَأُ، فَيَرْتَفِعَ، ثُمَّ تَجِيءُ الْجُمُعَةُ فَلَا يَجِيءُ وَلَا يَشْهَدُهَا، وَتَجِيءُ الْجُمُعَةُ فَلَا يَشْهَدُهَا، وَتَجِيءُ الْجُمُعَةُ فَلَا يَشْهَدُهَا، حَتَّى يُطْبَعَ عَلَى قَلْبِهِ»
