1168. It was narrated that Kharijah bin Hudhafah Al-Adawi said: "The Prophet ﷺ came out to us and said: 'Allâh has increased a prayer for you which is better for you than red camels. (It is) Witr, which Allâh has enjoined on you between the 'Ishâ' prayer and the onset of dawn.'" (Da'if)
1168 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ الْمِصْرِيُّ قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ الزَّوْفِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي مُرَّةَ الزَّوْفِيِّ، عَنْ خَارِجَةَ بْنِ حُذَافَةَ الْعَدَوِيِّ، قَالَ: خَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَمَدَّكُمْ بِصَلَاةٍ، لَهِيَ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ مِنْ حُمُرِ النَّعَمِ، الْوِتْرُ، جَعَلَهُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ فِيمَا بَيْنَ صَلَاةِ الْعِشَاءِ إِلَى أَنْ يَطْلُعَ الْفَجْرُ»

a. Witr prayer is a special bounty from Allāh. b. Red camels were a highly prized commodity among the Arabs. The idea is that this form of prayer is better than even the most valuable commodity of the world.
