English translation

1292. It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Prophet ﷺ did not pray before or after the 'Eid prayer. (Hasan)

Arabic text

1292 - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الطَّائِفِيُّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «لَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَهَا وَلَا بَعْدَهَا فِي عِيدٍ»
