Commentary
a. As the commandments mentioned in some earlier revealed Verses of the Qur'ān are abrogated by the later revealed Verses, similarly a later Hadith abrogates the earlier one as known clearly from this Hadith. b. Earning one's livelihood by legal means, and spending without arrogance and extravagance for oneself, and for one's dependents is well and good. But being covetous for wealth and an excessive luxurious lifestyle make a person heedless of the Hereafter. For the treatment of this type of disease of
the heart, one should visit the graveyard, so that he will remember his death and it will create a spirit and interest for the preparation of Hereafter.
