Text and translation

English translation

1663. It was narrated that Abu Dardâ' said: "We were with the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ on one of his journeys on a hot day, and it was extremely hot. A man would put his hand over his head because of the intense heat. No one among the people was fasting except for the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ and 'Abdullâh bin Rawâhah." (Sahih)

Commentary

It shows that if a person is strong enough then he may fast on a journey even with slight difficulty.
