181. Waki' bin Hudus narrated that his paternal uncle Abu Razin said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'Allāh laughs at the despair of His slaves although He soon changes it.'"[1] I said: 'O Messenger of Allāh, does the Lord laugh?' He said: 'Yes.' I said: 'We shall never be deprived of good by a Lord Who laughs.''" (Hasan)
181 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ حُدُسٍ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «ضَحِكَ رَبُّنَا مِنْ قُنُوطِ عِبَادِهِ، وَقُرْبِ غِيَرِهِ» قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَوَ يَضْحَكُ الرَّبُّ، قَالَ: «نَعَمْ» ، قُلْتُ: لَنْ نَعْدَمَ مِنْ رَبٍّ يَضْحَكُ خَيْرًا
