English translation

1819. It was narrated from 'Attâb bin Asid that the Prophet ﷺ used to send to the people one who would assess their vineyards and fruits. (Da'if)

Arabic text

1819 - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدِّمَشْقِيُّ، وَالزُّبَيْرُ بْنُ بَكَّارٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نَافِعٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ التَّمَّارُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ عَتَّابِ بْنِ أَسِيدٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، «كَانَ يَبْعَثُ عَلَى النَّاسِ مَنْ يَخْرُصُ عَلَيْهِمْ كُرُومَهُمْ وَثِمَارَهُمْ»
