English translation

1840. It was narrated from 'Abdullâh bin Mas'ud that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: "Whoever begs when he has enough to suffice him, his begging will come on the Day of Resurrection like lacerations on his face." It was said: "O Messenger of Allâh, what is sufficient for him?" He said: "Fifty Dirham, or their value in gold." (Da'if) Another chain of narrators for the Hadith has been discussed by Sufyân (one of the narrators).
