Commentary

a. It is an obligation upon a Muslim to help other Muslims, particularly when his help is sought. Adjuring is also a type of request for help, and it has extra emphasis in which the request is made by using the Name of Allāh; therefore it should certainly be fulfilled. b. If an oath is imposed to do something illegal, then it should not be fulfilled.
