English translation

2182. It was narrated from Abu Barzah Al-Aslami that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "The two parties to a transaction have the choice (of annulling it) so long as they have not yet parted." (Sahih)

Arabic text

2182 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدَةَ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَضِيءِ، عَنْ أَبِي بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْبَيِّعَانِ بِالْخِيَارِ مَا لَمْ يَتَفَرَّقَا»
