Commentary

All forms of interest are unlawful, and cause the curse of Allāh. As taking interest is a major sin, likewise paying interest is a major sin too. Therefore, taking a loan on the basis of interest is unlawful; whether this interest-based loan is taken from banks or from business individuals. Helping in any unlawful cause in anyway is prohibited, and the helper will be as equally sinful as the doer.
