2463. It was narrated from Tâwus that Mu'âdh bin Jabal leased some land during the time of the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ, Abu Bakr, 'Umar and 'Uthmân, in return for one third or one fourth (of the yield), and he was still doing that until this day of yours. (Da'if)
2463 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، عَنْ خَالِدٍ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، أَنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ، «أَكْرَى الْأَرْضَ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ، وَعُمَرَ، وَعُثْمَانَ، عَلَى الثُّلُثِ وَالرُّبُعِ فَهُوَ يُعْمَلُ بِهِ إِلَى يَوْمِكَ هَذَا»
