Commentary
The Arabic word Tahârah (cleanliness) or Tahur here means Wudu (ablution) and Ghulul (bath). It is a prerequisite for the ritual prayer that the worshipper be free of both the minor and major impurities in addition to any other apparent filth. And just as one is required to be mindful of the lawful and the unlawful mode of expenditure, he must also be cautious about the lawful and unlawful ways of earning his wealth.
