Commentary

Wearing sewn clothes for men is forbidden during Ihram Sewn clothes mean those that are cut and stitched to fit the shape of the body such as shirt, pants, vest, sweater and the like. If an unstitched robe is short and a similar piece is connected with it to fit the body, then it is not considered as sewn cloth. Lifting luggage on the head is not considered as wearing it, so it is not forbidden.
