English translation

2948. It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbās that the Prophet ﷺ performed Tawāf on a camel during the Farewell Pilgrimage, touching the corner with a staff. (Sahih)

Arabic text

2948 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «طَافَ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ، عَلَى بَعِيرٍ، يَسْتَلِمُ الرُّكْنَ، بِمِحْجَنٍ»
