English translation

3047. It was narrated from Sālim, from his father: "I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ reciting the Talbīyah when he entered Ihrām with something applied to his head to keep the hair together." (Sahih)

Arabic text

3047 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ الْمِصْرِيُّ قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، سَمِعْتُ رَسُول اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «يُهِلُّ مُلَبِّدًا»
