English translation

3062. It was narrated that Jābir bin Abdullāh said: "I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: 'The water of Zamzam is for whatever it is drunk for.'" (Hasan)

Arabic text

3062 - حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُؤَمَّلِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا الزُّبَيْرِ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُول اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: مَاءُ زَمْزَمَ، لِمَا شُرِبَ لَهُ "
