English translation

3096. It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "On one occasion the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ sent sheep to the House, and he garlanded them." (Sahih)

Arabic text

3096 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: «أَهْدَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَرَّةً غَنَمًا إِلَى الْبَيْتِ فَقَلَّدَهَا»
