English translation

3358. It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "It is the Sunnah for a man to go out with his guest to the door of the house." (Maudu')

Arabic text

3358 - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ الرَّقِّيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ مِنَ السُّنَّةِ، أَنْ يَخْرُجَ الرَّجُلُ مَعَ ضَيْفِهِ، إِلَى بَابِ الدَّارِ»
