Commentary

All kinds of intoxicants, whether they are used as drinking, eating, inhaling or by injecting in the body are forbidden. Using intoxicating drugs whether its quantity is less or more is forbidden. If a drink causes drunkenness when it is used in a large quantity, then drinking it in a small quantity, even if this quantity does not cause drunkenness, is also forbidden.
