English translation

3477. It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbâs that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: "On the night on which I was taken on the Night Journey (Isrâ'), I did not pass by any group of angels but all of them said to me: 'O Muhammad, you should use cupping.'" (Da'if)

Commentary

a. Angels do not carry out any action with their own will without the command of Allâh. So, this medication was not suggested by the angels rather it was ordered by Allâh. b. The purpose of frequent repetition of the matter is to emphasize it.
