Commentary
White dress is the best dress, and the Prophet ﷺ used to love it most.
Supplicating for someone to get martyrdom is allowed.
This supplication of the Prophet ﷺ for 'Umar ﷺ was responded to. His life was unique; he became a ruler of a large state and set the unique examples of his pierness, justice and courage that are still beyond comparison.
