English translation
3613. It was narrated that 'Abdullâh bin 'Ukaym said: "There came to us a letter from the Prophet ﷺ (saying): 'Do not make use of the untanned skin and sinew of dead animals.'"(Hasan)

3613 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْهِرٍ، عَنِ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ، كُلُّهُمْ عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُكَيْمٍ قَالَ: أَتَانَا كِتَابُ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَنْ لَا تَنْتَفِعُوا مِنَ الْمَيْتَةِ بِإِهَابٍ وَلَا عَصَبٍ»
