3642. It was narrated that 'Ali said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ forbade wearing gold rings." (Sahih)

Arabic text

3642 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ ابْنِ حُنَيْنٍ، مَوْلَى عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ: «نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ التَّخَتُّمِ بِالذَّهَبِ»
