Commentary

a. While spending in the cause of Allāh, a human being, sometimes, thinks that if he could save this money it would serve his children. Though controlling such feelings is difficult, but one should try to keep them in limits to avoid being a miser. b. At the time of Jihād the thoughts of children occupies one's mind. He would think about them, that if he becomes martyr, what would happen to his children? Such feelings make him become coward. c. Love of children should be subject to the rulings of Shari'ah.
