English translation

3693. It was narrated that Abu Umāmah said: "Our Prophet ﷺ commanded us to spread (the greeting of) peace." (Sahih)

Arabic text

3693 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ: «أَمَرَنَا نَبِيُّنَا صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نُفْشِيَ السَّلَامَ»
