English translation
3749. It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Prophet ﷺ forbade men and women to enter bathhouses, then he allowed men to enter them wearing a waist wrap, but he did not make the same allowance for women. (Hasan)

3749 - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عُذْرَةَ قَالَ: وَكَانَ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نَهَى الرِّجَالَ وَالنِّسَاءَ عَنِ الْحَمَّامَاتِ ثُمَّ رَخَّصَ لِلرِّجَالِ، أَنْ يَدْخُلُوهَا فِي الْمَيَازِرِ، وَلَمْ يُرَخِّصْ لِلنِّسَاءِ»
