English translation

3900. It was narrated from 'Abdullāh that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever sees me in a dream, has seen me in reality, for Satan cannot appear in my form." (Sahih)

Arabic text

3900 - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «مَنْ رَآنِي فِي الْمَنَامِ، فَقَدْ رَآنِي فِي الْيَقَظَةِ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ لَا يَتَمَثَّلُ عَلَى صُورَتِي»
