Commentary

a. Wearing golden ornaments is forbidden for men. So, seeing gold bracelets in the hands of the Prophet ﷺ, in a dream, means facing some unpleasant incident or person. Blowing them indicates fighting against them and defeating them. b. Aswad 'Ansi, in San'ā', a city of Yemen, claimed himself falsely to be a prophet. The Companions of the Prophet ﷺ entered in his house and killed him. The imposter Musailimah, in the city of Yamamah, also claimed himself as being a prophet. Abu Bakr ﷺ, sent an army to fight him and he was killed in the battle. The Companion Wahshi ﷺ who had killed Hamzah ﷺ in the battle of Uhud before accepting Islam, killed the imposter Musailimah.
