English translation

3947. It was narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “The believer is more precious to Allāh, the Mighty and Sublime, than some of His angels.” (Da’if)

Arabic text

3947 - حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُهَزِّمِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «الْمُؤْمِنُ أَكْرَمُ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، مِنْ بَعْضِ مَلَائِكَتِهِ»
