English translation
468. It was narrated from Salmān Al-Fārīsi that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ performed ablution, then he turned inside out the woolen garment that he was wearing and wiped his face with it. (Da'if)

468 - حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْأَزْهَرِ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ السِّمْطِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْوَضِينُ بْنُ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ مَحْفُوظِ بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ الْفَارِسِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ «تَوَضَّأَ، فَقَلَبَ جُبَّةَ صُوفٍ كَانَتْ عَلَيْهِ، فَمَسَحَ بِهَا وَجْهَهُ»
