English translation

633. It was narrated that 'Aishah said: "The Prophet ﷺ used to bring his head close to me when I was menstruating and he was in I'tikâf (seclusion in a mosque for the purpose of worship), and I would wash it and comb his hair." (Sahih)

Commentary

a. A man in a state of I'tikâf (seclusion in a mosque for worship) is not allowed to come out of the mosque without a genuine excuse or pressing necessity. b. Peeping the head out of the mosque does not fall under the definition of coming out of the mosque.
