English translation

679. It was narrated that Abu Sa'eed said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'Wait for it to cool down before you pray, for intense heat is from the flaring up of the Hell-fire.'" (Sahih)

Arabic text

679 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «أَبْرِدُوا بِالظُّهْرِ؛ فَإِنَّ شِدَّةَ الْحَرِّ مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ»
