English translation
766. It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'aib, from his father, from his grandfather, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ forbade making lost-and-found announcements in the mosque. (Hasan)

766 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رُمْحٍ قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كُرَيْبٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، جَمِيعًا، عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، «نَهَى عَنْ إِنْشَادِ الضَّالَّةِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ»
