English translation
935. It was narrated from 'Aishah that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "If food is ready and the lqāmah is being given, then start with the food." (Sahih)

935 - حَدَّثَنَا سَهْلُ بْنُ أَبِي سَهْلٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ جَمِيَعًا، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا حَضَرَ الْعَشَاءُ، وَأُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، فَابْدَءُوا بِالْعَشَاءِ»

Commentary
The order to eat first is for conditions of extreme hunger, otherwise it would be highly improper to avoid the prayer in congregation. And Allāh knows best.
