1101. 'Abdur-Rahmân bin Sa'd bin 'Ammâr bin Sa'd, the Mu'adh-dhin of the Prophet ﷺ, said: "My father told me, narrating from his father, from his grandfather, that during the time of the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ, he used to call the Adhân on Fridays when the shadow was like a sandal strap." (Da'if)
1101 - حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَعْدِ بْنِ عَمَّارِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، مُؤَذِّنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ «يُؤَذِّنُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا كَانَ الْفَيْءُ مِثْلَ الشِّرَاكِ»
