English translation

1199. It was narrated that Abu Hurairah said: "When the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ prayed the two (Sunnah) Rak'ah of Fajr, he would lie down." (Sahih)

Arabic text

1199 - حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: «كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَلَّى رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ اضْطَجَعَ»
