English translation

1242. It was narrated that Umm Salamah said: "The Messenger of Allâh ﷺ was forbidden to recite Qunut in Fajr." (Maudu')

Arabic text

1242 - حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ الضَّبِّيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْلَى زُنْبُورٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَنْبَسَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ، قَالَتْ «نُهِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْقُنُوتِ فِي الْفَجْرِ»
