1311. It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbâs that the Messenger of Allâh ﷺ said: "Two 'Eid have come together on this day of yours. So whoever wants, that (the 'Eid prayer) will suffice him, and he will not have to pray Friday, but we will pray Friday if Allâh wills." (Da'if) Another chain with similar wording.
1311 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُصَفَّى الْحِمْصِيُّ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي مُغِيرَةُ الضَّبِّيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «اجْتَمَعَ عِيدَانِ فِي يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا، فَمَنْ شَاءَ أَجْزَأَهُ مِنَ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَإِنَّا مُجَمِّعُونَ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ» . حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ الضَّبِّيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ رُفَيْعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ
