English translation
1349. It was narrated that Umm Hânî' bint Abî Tâlib said: "I used to hear the Prophet ﷺ reciting at night when I was on the roof of my house." (Hasan)

1349 - حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، وَعَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مِسْعَرٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الْعَلَاءِ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ بِنْتِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ، قَالَتْ: «كُنْتُ أَسْمَعُ قِرَاءَةَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِاللَّيْلِ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَرِيشِي»

Commentary
The Prophet ﷺ used to make audible recitation in Tahajjud although, as we shall see in H. 1354, inaudible mode of recitation is also allowed in it.
